Earlier this month we were fortunate to participate in the 10th Annual Historic Home Workshop that was put on by the City of Lakeland Community Development Department and Historic Lakeland, Inc. The four hour event took place at Florida Southern College, a significant historic campus that contains the largest single collection of Frank Lloyd Wright buildings in the world. The well-attended 45 minute workshops included topics such as wood window repair, restoring historic porches, and plaster repair. The main lobby was filled with vendors that offered products and services for historic properties, including landscaping, reclaimed wood flooring, millwork, wood windows, and, of course, custom sheds for historic homes.

After the workshop was over, we were treated to a tour of the campus, including the interiors of both chapels and the reading reading room.
