  • Tampa Bay Times writer Logan Neill wrote a lovely feature article on Historic Shed that ran in Sunday's paper. We'd spoken to Mr. Neill several times over the past year as a local non-profit struggled to save the historic Chinsegut Hill Manor House. Mr. Neill, a Brooksville resident, has been one of the biggest advocates of saving the antebellum house and our paths crossed as we became involved in the project. Here's the lovely article he wrote about Historic Shed: Brooksville business matches new outbuildings with historic structures

  • A couple of months ago we were contacted about using an image of one of our sheds for an article in a national publication called Bottom Line Secrets about Tiny House living. The article was to feature an interview with Small House Society founder, Gregory Johnson. Mr. Johnson became an expert in Tiny House living when he downsized to life in a 140 sf cottage. The article came out in mid-August and, much to our delight, not only used our photo but also mentioned our company. The article spells out some of the pros and cons of downsizing to small house living. Read it here: http://www.bottomlinepublications.com/content/article/home-a-family/tiny-homes-are-big-add-a-guest-cottage-home-office-or-granny-pod-for-surprisingly-little?utm_campaign=_BQQ16lB8tnDLU4

  • We've been thrilled to get some press recently in some great magazines and blogs in the past couple of months. Here's some highlights: One of our sheds was selected for an article in the May/June issue of Fine Gardening on "Stylish Sheds". There was a feature article in the March issue of Coastal Contractor on our Ybor City Cottage project. We were interviewed for an article on Tiny Homes in the Sun Sentinel prior to the Tumbleweed Tiny House Miami Workshop in April. We were featured in the May issue of Lux Magazine in an article called "History in the Making". We wrote a guest blog post for Tiny House Blog on building small homes in historic districts that was picked up by Mint Magazine and quoted in "Growing Movement: Americans Buying More Tiny Houses (Under 500 Sq. Ft.) To Avoid Foreclosure". We were featured in the May/June issue of Florida Creative Living Magazine with a company history profile.

  • We were pleasantly surprised to see our Historic Shed designed and built cottage featured this week on the popular Tiny House Blog website. Kent Griswold, who runs the site, was gracious enough to not only publish the web story about the cottage, but also the video showing its construction and our collection of installation photos. Many thanks for allowing us space on this forum - we love to read the comments!
